Emma Raducanu and Naomi Osaka both lose in US Open first round
UCLA Women’s tennis coach Dan Ziebell called Emma Radulcanu and Naomi Osaka two of the toughest players he has ever coached. He called Radulcanu a student of the game, a very “passionate” player and great competitor. Radulcanu admitted to losing to Osaka in the first round of the US Open, giving tennis as a whole a bad reputation, especially at the women’s level. She wasn’t the only one.
