The New York City Marathon Prize Money Is $50K

What Is the Prize Money for the NYC Marathon?

Last week, I wrote a post about the prize money for the New York City Marathon. It’s $50K. And while I feel like I’m only half joking about this, I really want to point out that $50K is actually quite high for the New York City Marathon.

You see, the New York City Marathon itself holds a prize money of $25K, while the half marathon itself is awarded with a $15K prize. As such, the entire total prize money for the New York City Marathon is over $40K.

As far as the $15K prize for the half marathon goes, I can only think that it’s either because the organizers have decided that the half marathon itself has less value than the full marathon and therefore they can lower the prize money for the half. Or perhaps because people who get into it not only want to see the full marathon but also want to see the half.

Either way, I really don’t think that there’s anything wrong with seeing the $15K prize for the half marathon. Not to mention that the money comes from a charitable fundraiser, so that’s another very charitable reason!

So what’s the $50K prize money for the NYC marathon? Well, while it’s a lot less then $40K, it’s still very high considering that it’s all tax-funded. And as a non-profit organization, the New York City Marathon is even more tax-funded than most.

So what exactly is the value of the NYC Marathon? So many people have asked me that I decided to write a post about it!

Now, while you will hear a lot of people tell you that the NYC marathon is the world’s most famous event, I’m here to tell you that it’s really not.

In terms of the New York City Marathon, the fact that it’s a very well-known running event in the U.S. is a very good thing. As it attracts a lot of people who would like to run, the NYC marathon attracts a lot of people who would like to watch.

To illustrate the reason why the NYC marathon has such a large following, let’s take a look at what the runners are saying.
