Biden announces granddaughter Naomi’s wedding, following celebrations at home in Delaware

Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. is about to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of his granddaughter, Naomi Biden, to her husband, Beau Willing, at their home in Wilmington, Del.
Mr. Biden congratulated his grandson on the happy event in a video posted on Twitter on Saturday night. The Vice President and Mrs. Willing were present at the home to host the festivities.
“This is an appropriate time for us all to come here to celebrate the joys of our children, including my granddaughter Naomi’s upcoming marriage,” Mr. Biden tweeted. “And I especially want to congratulate my grandson, Beau, who has grown into such a fine young man.”
Naomi Biden is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Beau Willing, who is vice chairman of AIM Media Investments. They will wed in January in Wilmington, Del., according to a White House announcement by the vice president on Thursday.
President Obama’s senior advisor Valerie Jarrett celebrated the upcoming nuptials with Mr. Biden by tweeting a photo of the two embracing on a beach.
“Just got married, and my husband-to-be- Beau Willing is in the White House waiting to take his vows and celebrate for me,” Mrs. Biden tweeted. “And my @VP @JoeBiden’s granddaughter is about to get married in Wilmington.”
